happy hump day everyone!
i hope you are all having a great week so far, mine has unfortunately been pretty exhausting after an exhilarating weekend at coachella. for this week’s post i’m going to keep it short and sweet since my brain is still recovering from the amazing bands i saw over the weekend! since I’ve written about pretty much all of the bands I saw, I’ll give you some songs from bands who I haven’t gone into TOO much detail about.
i’ll list the bands in the order that they performed.
Sylvan Esso was the first group I saw and they were absolutely awesome. I actually wrote about them a few months ago when they opened for Foster the People before they got more well-known, so it was really cool to see how much they’ve improved since November. This was my favorite song Sylvan Esso:
Tame Impala also performed Friday and freakin’ killed it as usual. I’ve always loved them, but after seeing them this weekend I am hooked. Here’s my fav song by Tame Impala:
view from Tame Impala:

Porter Robinson was the last person I saw on Friday. He played in Sahara and pretty much changed my life. Not actually, but he’s awesome and if you haven’t seen him before GO SEE HIM. This was my favorite Porter song from his set:

^^ Porter doing his thang
Flosstradamus was one of the last performers I saw saturday and it blew my mind. not only was the music crazy, but i was also standing a few feet way from justin bieber and kendall jenner, which was pretty insane. heres my fav Floss song:
What So Not was the first performer I saw sunday. not gonna lie, i almost started crying when i realized that Flume wasn’t there….. but it’s okay. this was my favorite What So Not song that was played. This song stood out to me because George Maple came out on stage and sang over the track wearing an extremely fashion forward gold ensemble.

Odesza was by far one of my two my favorite performances out of the entire weekend. This was the first time I have seen them play, and I was extremely impressed. They brought the USC band onstage to play with them in their first song, which really grabbed the audience’s attention and got the crowd PUMPED. Since I’ve already posted like 10,0000 Odesza songs, including my favorite ones, I’ll just post one that I haven’t shared yet!
Kygo was the last performer of the weekend, and BOY was it an great way to end the most amazing weekend of the year. He actually recorded his newest song with Dillon Francis LIVE at Coachella, and afterwards threw the USBs into the crowd. It blew my mind. Here’s the new Kygo and Dillon Francis song:
hope you enjoyed! see you next year, coachella!
xx,
Bailey

being just a short 64 days away (not that i’m counting or anything..) i’ve decided to post a few songs every week from my favorite artists playing at the festival this year. i’ll be mixing up the genres so you can go to all five tents at coachella and know every awesome band performing! yay!
